Have you ever felt like you were standing at the base of a mountain so steep, so towering, you couldn’t even see the top?

Maybe it’s a diagnosis that rocked your world.
Maybe it’s a betrayal that shattered your trust.
Maybe it’s the ache of a dream that feels too far gone.

📖 A Bible Story of Overcoming: David vs. Goliath

One of the most inspiring stories of facing the impossible is David—a young shepherd boy—facing Goliath, a giant warrior. On paper, it was a mismatch. David didn’t have the size, experience, or weapons.

But what he did have was faith.

He said confidently to Goliath:
🕊 “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts…” – 1 Samuel 17:45

David knew something we all need to hold onto: It’s not the size of the mountain, but the size of our God that matters.

⛰️ Modern Day Mountains

Today, the “Goliaths” we face look different—but they still taunt us.
• A single mom unsure how she’ll pay next month’s rent.
• A woman recovering from a toxic relationship, doubting if she’ll ever feel whole again.
• A man fighting anxiety in silence, wondering if he’ll ever feel peace.

But friend, you are not alone.
Just like God was with David, He is with you—in the valley and at the peak.

🌿 God’s Promises for You

• “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Hebrews 13:5
• “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” – Exodus 14:14
• “Though I walk through the valley… I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” – Psalm 23:4

Even when the mountain doesn’t move right away, God gives us what we need for the climb:
Joy when it’s hard.
Peace when it doesn’t make sense.
Patience when the wait is long.
And love that never runs out.

Dear Lord,
Today I stand before a mountain I don’t know how to climb. I’m tired. I’m scared. I’m unsure.
But I know You are the God who parts seas, moves stones, and slays giants.
Give me the faith of David and the strength of Your Spirit.
Fill me with peace, joy, and hope—not because of what I see, but because of who You are.
I trust You to carry me, sustain me, and lead me—step by step.
Thank You for never leaving my side.
