Hebrews 4:12 (NIV):

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

There is no other book on earth that holds the mind of God or reveals the true path to salvation like the Bible.

Hebrews 4:12 reminds us that ā€œthe word of God is alive and active.ā€ It’s not just ink on a page — it’s the breath of God, speaking directly to our hearts through the power of the Holy Spirit.

And yet…
So many of us don’t pick it up.

We say we’re too busy, or we’ll get to it ā€œlater.ā€
Some of us whisper to ourselves, ā€œI don’t understand it,ā€ or ā€œWhere do I even begin?ā€
Others are simply worn down by life’s problems and wonder how a book could possibly help.

But here’s the truth, friend:
When we don’t come to the Word of God daily, humbly, and ready to learn, we’re missing the very thing our souls are crying out for.

šŸ’” The Real Reason You’re Still Struggling

Many people — including long-time Christians — feel lost when it comes to Scripture.

They might say:

  • ā€œIt’s too confusing.ā€
  • ā€œI don’t know how to interpret it.ā€
  • ā€œI tried reading it once but didn’t get anything out of it.ā€

The result?
They give up.
They stop trying.
And they suffer in silence — anxious, directionless, and spiritually malnourished.

But those who stick with it, who press in and invite the Holy Spirit to guide them, discover what money can never buy:
Peace. Clarity. Purpose. Power.

šŸ™ Simple Ways to Spend Time with God Every Day

You don’t need a theology degree or a quiet cabin in the woods. You just need a willing heart.

Here are some ways to stay connected to God’s Word daily — no matter how busy or uncertain you feel:

  1. Start with a Psalm or Proverb.
These books are rich in wisdom, honest emotion, and divine truth. Psalm 23, Psalm 91, and Proverbs 3 are wonderful starting places.
  2. Use a Bible App with Devotionals.
YouVersion offers hundreds of reading plans with audio options, reminders, and themes tailored to what you’re going through — anxiety, fear, healing, etc.
  3. Listen While You Move.
Let the Bible play while you’re driving, walking, or cooking. God’s Word can soak into your spirit even when your hands are full.
  4. Ask a Simple Question:
ā€œGod, what do You want to say to me today?ā€ Then read a few verses slowly and let them speak to you.
  5. Join a Small Group or Workshop.
Learning alongside others builds consistency and clarity. (That’s why I created Bible Chicks — to help women like you grow strong in faith and purpose.)

🌿 Make It a Habit, and You’ll Grow to Love It

The more time you spend in God’s Word, the more you’ll crave it.
It will begin to reshape your thinking, renew your heart, and remind you that you are never alone in what you’re facing.

So today, beautiful woman of God — don’t let intimidation or busyness steal this treasure from you.

Make the Bible part of your daily rhythm.
Because in those quiet moments, as you turn those sacred pages, something miraculous happens:
You hear His voice.
You feel His love.
And you receive the strength to keep going.
