If you know me, you know this: I’m a giver.
Even when I don’t have much, I’m the first to give — because I’ve learned that generosity isn’t about how much you have; it’s about the heart you give it with.

But today, I want to talk to you.
Because I know that sometimes, we get stuck.

Are You Caught in Your Own Struggles?

Life can be hard.
Bills, health problems, family stress — it can make you want to pull back, hold tight, and think, “I just need to survive right now.”

But Jesus taught us something radically different.

Mark 12:41–43: What Jesus Sees

Jesus once watched people give money at the temple. The wealthy gave big, flashy gifts. But the one who caught His eye?
A poor widow who dropped in two small coins — all she had.

Jesus said,

“She gave more than all the others, because she gave out of her poverty.”

It wasn’t the size of her gift; it was the sacrifice and the trust.

God’s Math: Luke 6:38 + Proverbs 11:24

In God’s economy, giving multiplies blessing.

“Give, and it will be given to you… a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over.” (Luke 6:38)

And Proverbs reminds us,

“One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.” (Proverbs 11:24)

We think hoarding protects us.
But in God’s system, giving opens the door to abundance — not just financially, but spiritually and emotionally.

Acts 20:35: Healing Through Helping

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)

Here’s something I’ve seen over and over:
When you’re hurting, blessing someone else can lift you like nothing else can.
It shifts your focus from your pain to God’s power.
